Abstract
For almost one hundred years, the mining site El Teniente and the settlement Sewell have been closely related due to economic, productive, labor and demographic reasons among others. This is an interesting topic to be revised by disciplines such as Historiography. The interdependence between the two is a phenomenon that needs to be divulged.
