University Pedagogy: With topics such as public policies in higher education, legislative system and reforms, academic programs, comparative policies, massification processes, quality assurance, legal professions, and others in higher education as a general field, referring to the Chilean and international context .

Didactics of Law: With topics whose centrality is related to processes of innovation, learning, curriculum, innovations, teaching experiences, students and teachers characterization , among others in legal education in the Chilean and international context.

Ethical and citation standards (Chicago-deusto) must be taken care of, in addition to the originality of the research or innovation.

Active teaching and learning methodologies in the Tax Law II discipline: an experience report in the face of new challenges in distance learning

Abstract

Due to the challenges of contemporaneity related to the teaching and learning process, it is relevant to discuss new perspectives of active methodologies that provide the student with a consistent theoretical educational formation. Some scholars were the pillar for the development of this work: Paulo Freire and José Garcez Ghirardi, approaching pedagogical methods of legal education. The research had as general objective to analyze how the active methodologies implemented in the remote discipline of Tax Law II interfered in the constructive process of teaching-learning. The specific objectives were to evaluate how active methodologies used in remote classes of Tax Law II positively or negatively impacted the student; investigate new possibilities for active methodologies in the Tax Law II discipline that facilitate teaching-learning and propose a lesson plan for the training of law students in the period of the pandemic and post-pandemic in the Tax Law II discipline. The methodology used was the descriptive-analytical study. As for the type: bibliographical, including scientific articles, theses, dissertations and important documents described in official websites. As for nature: qualitative, to verify the issue of human behavior in relation to legal events.
