Knowledge management and innovative culture: The examination of Chilean firms across industries

Resumen

El artículo examina el impacto de la gestión del conocimiento en la cultura de la innovación según industrias con una muestra de trabajadores de empresas chilenas de gran tamaño. A través de modelos multinivel, el estudio confirma que la adquisición, difusión y capacidad de respuesta al conocimiento son predictores más fuertes de la cultura innovadora, permitiendo entender cómo el cambio cultural innovador podría desarrollarse a través de la rutinización del conocimiento. Además, la contribución clave de este estudio es reconocer que la relación entre gestión del conocimiento y cultura de la innovación tiene diferencias entre industrias. En este sentido, las empresas de servicios tienen un mayor impacto en la capacidad de respuesta a la tecnología, y las empresas manufactureras son más fuertes en la adquisición de conocimientos. La difusión del conocimiento es la única dimensión con comportamiento similar entre las industrias
