Abstract

The study of a national frontier in International Law, covers an ambit of the state and its territorial component. The key assertion according to which once agreed, the boundary stands -"for any other approach would vitiate the fundamental principle of the stability of boundaries-", leads to consideration of other issues related to the title and its consolidation. The value of geography, politics and history provide a better consideration of the frontier phenomenon.
